Hockley Woods, Places to visit in Essex, Woodland Walks Map for Ramblers, Cyclists, Running Clubs & Horse Riders

Welcome to my website Hockley Woods dot com. Definitely one of the top woodland places to visit in Essex, with the main entrance situated next to The Bull Pub, 99 Main Rd Hockley, Essex SS5 4RN.

If you’re quick you will see the amazing amount of Bluebells still in bloom in Hockley Woods. These are visible if you follow the Yellow route, and Jennie Spittle caught this cracking photo if you can’t make it (or find them!)

Can you buy the beautiful bluebell pictures.

Hi Maxine, let me know which picture on what page and I can email it to you. Alternatively try right clicking on any photo you like and save it to your computer. Then you can print out or use as a screensaver 🙂

Hi Lee, not sure about the houses. Contact Rochford Council who hopefully can provide you with more info.
    Thanks for your enquiry.

    Hi Geoff,

I need a spot to shoot a 2 minute video of me reading an extract from my new book. Ideally, a clearing but with canopy. I appreciate there are several dozen square hectares to choose from (!) but of you knew of a sweet spot in the woods that might be suitable I’d be most grateful.

  8. Mark says:

Hi – we found a good spot and did a good 2 day’s filming so all sorted.
